Privacy Policy

This policy explains what RentACarInDubai.net does with the information you provide. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, and it describes actual practice on this site.

The short version

If you send a rental request, the details of that request are shared with an independent, licensed rental company so they can send you rental options or pricing. That is the whole purpose of the request. Nothing else is done with it, and it is not sold to anyone.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you make a rental enquiry — by WhatsApp, by email, or through a link on this site — we receive whatever you choose to include: typically your name, the phone number you contact us from, the dates and duration you need, the category of vehicle, and a delivery or collection area.

Information about the page you came from. So that a request can be routed to a company that covers the right category, an enquiry carries context: which page it came from, which category and language, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed.

We do not ask for identity documents. Passport scans, driving licence photographs, Emirates ID copies, visa documents and payment card details are not requested and should not be sent to us. If a rental company needs them, it will ask you directly at the point of hire.

Why we use it

The information is used for one purpose: to pass your rental request to a rental company that can respond to it, and to follow up on that request if needed. Aggregate, non-identifying information about which pages generate enquiries is used to decide what to write next.

Who it is shared with

Rental requests may be shared with an independent, licensed rental partner in order to provide you with rental options or pricing. That company is a separate business and becomes responsible for the information it receives from the point it receives it; its own privacy practices apply to what it does afterwards.

We do not sell enquiry information, and we do not share it with anyone other than a rental partner acting on your request.

Analytics

If analytics are used on this site, they record page-level behaviour — which pages are viewed, which links are used — and never personal details from an enquiry. Names, phone numbers, email addresses, message contents and document details are never sent to any analytics service.

Cookies

This site is a static website and does not require you to accept tracking in order to read it. Where any measurement is used, it is limited to the aggregate behaviour described above.

How long it is kept

Enquiry information is kept only as long as it is useful for handling and following up on the request, and is then removed. It is not retained indefinitely.

Your choices

You can ask what information relating to you is held, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@rentacarindubai.net with enough detail to identify the enquiry — normally the phone number you used and roughly when you sent it.

If you have already been contacted by a rental company as a result of your enquiry, you may also need to make the request to that company directly, since it holds its own copy.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it.
